Hi, I'm Sarah Quist – a London born and bred singer, actress, storyteller, author, poet, coach, and creative producer based in Kent.

For more than 30 years I've been performing, creating, and bringing people together through music, theatre, and storytelling. As a jazz, blues, and soul singer, I've performed at iconic venues including Ronnie Scott's and The 100 Club, toured internationally, and recorded in Memphis with legendary soul producer Willie Mitchell. I've also worked with wonderful artists including Herbie Flowers and Hazel O'Connor.

Right now I'm recording my two debut EPs – one featuring my original songs and another bringing my poetry to life through spoken word.

Alongside my music, I trained at RADA and have worked with companies including the Royal Shakespeare Company, Talawa Theatre Company, Birmingham Rep, and the National Theatre of Scotland. Storytelling is at the heart of everything I do, whether I'm on stage, in the studio, or working with communities.

I'm the founder of Quist Coaching, helping individuals, creatives, and organisations build confidence, find their authentic voice, and communicate with impact. I'm also Co-Founder of Creative Awakenings, an arts-based organisation that uses creativity, storytelling, and performance to inspire learning, wellbeing, confidence, and connection in schools, communities, and workplaces.

As Co-Founder and Co-Artistic Director of Big World Festival, I'm passionate about celebrating music, culture, and community. Inspired by my Ghanaian heritage and my home in Folkestone, the festival is a vibrant celebration of global cultures, creativity, and belonging.
